About Us
Hope Acres is a proud, female, Navy veteran-owned candle company based in the Pacific Northwest.
I originally started making candles in search of clean-burning options that wouldn’t trigger my migraines or harm my children. What began as small batches for family and friends quickly became a true passion.
In February 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During chemotherapy, candle making became my peaceful outlet — a creative way to stay grounded and bring something positive into our home.
Today, every candle is hand-poured with premium, clean ingredients. I’m committed to crafting beautiful, long-lasting fragrances that are safe for sensitive noses, kids, and cancer warriors like me.
At Hope Acres, we believe scent has the power to comfort and uplift. Our goal is simple:

Delivery & Returns
Free shipping on orders of $50 or more
You can purchase your items online and they will be shipped directly to your doorstep. We use the best carriers in the business to make sure your orders get to you on time.
Orders placed Friday after 2pm through the weekend will be shipped the following Monday.
At the Secure Checkout page, you‘ll see the ordered item’s description, its price, and delivery time. Where available, you can also choose a faster delivery method for each item on your order for an additional fee. Delivery times vary depending on your selected delivery address, availability of your items, and the time of the day you place your order.
Returns & Exchanges
You may return or exchange any unburned, unopened, and undamaged candle within 14 days of delivery.
Condition:
Items must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
Shipping:
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is defective.
Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect the item, a full refund (minus original shipping costs) will be issued to your original payment method within
7-10 business days
.
2. Burned or Used Candles
Because fragrance is subjective, we understand that picking scents online can be difficult.
If you have burned a candle and find the scent isn't to your liking, you can exchange it for store credit within
7 days
of delivery.
Condition:
The candle must be
less than 25%
burned. A restocking fee of $5 applies to cover handling.
Final Sale:
Candles that are
more than 25%
burned are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
If your candle arrives broken, melted in transit, or is otherwise defective, we will gladly replace it or issue a full refund.
Please take clear photos of the damage and email them to our support team within

4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
Sale or clearance items.
